Augmented reality and gourmet gastronomy in Monte Carlo
The Monegasque restaurant Le Pinocchio hosts the artwork of Houda Bakkali in a digital exhibition that also proposes the public to experiment with augmented reality.
As a commitment to art and new generations and artistic trends, the mythical restaurant Le Pinocchio will show some of the artist’s most emblematic works, from her series of collages about Africa produced in 2008, to her latest work «Crazy Heart» in the that combines graphic work with audiovisual creation. Le Pinocchio also permanently hosts the work «Too many fish, too few loaves», an artwork awarded with the Graphis Silver Award in New York, a contest that rewards the best posters in the world, as well as the recognition of the London International Creative, among other distinctions.
This event is the third presentation of Houda Bakkali’s artwork in Monaco. Her style was well received by the public and the press during the Fontvieille Contemporary Art Fair.
“At this very particular time that we live because of the pandemic, we must find new ways to continue sharing our creativity with the public. My art is essentially digital, so this virtual presentation is a perfect option to bring the public closer to my creative process. In Monaco I feel at home. It is a country that I love and being able to show my work in such an emblematic place as Le Pinocchio is a great honor. I’m very grateful and happy for this opportunity «
